We use job-tracking, comprehensive scheduling and project management software to support efficient and cost-effective reporting and project management.

This is how it works:

1. You send us your document or a description of your needs.

2. VOX Translations returns you a FREE written estimate indicating the following:

Fees. We quote our services according to the nature of each work, not by the hour or by the page. It is the type of material, language combination involved, level of technical difficulty, time line, and other factors, what determine the cost of each job.
Completion time. Aiming to secure a flawless project management and an effective delivery schedule, we put forth efforts to provide an adequate time frame that you can agree upon.
All relevant information, including:
A graphic schedule illustrating all stages of the project.
Information about the appointed project manager who coordinates and supervises your project.
A list of his/her duties.
A description of the way he/she will perform his/her responsibilities.
Dates and methods of reporting.

3. In order to accurately interpret specific issues we ask you for instructions on how and when to contact your employees. Understanding some of your policies and/or procedures, and implementing a working relationship usually facilitate our capacity to deliver the highest possible quality.

4. In certain cases, in order to expedite the process and further secure the accuracy of our work, we ask you to provide us with a glossary of terms, if available, or for suggestions on what sources to consult.

5. Since all orders should be accompanied by a company purchase order, you send us such instrument stating acceptance of our terms, or you communicate your objections or counteroffers by any means. Once we agree on all stipulations, you send us your final, written order.

6. Keeping on mind the subject, language, and country or audience you want to reach, we select from our vast database only those translators and editors who suit your specific needs. We choose our translators and other specialists not only because of their linguistic skills, but also because of their technical expertise. Our staff includes bilingual attorneys, graphic designers, engineers, computer programmers, psychologists, bankers, economists, doctors, as well as scholars and members of the international translation community.

7. The project manager notifies the translators, editors and graphic designers about our choice, internal deadlines, guidelines, and lists of responsibilities that they should follow during the development of the project.

8. All orders are word-processed and/or formatted in the software of your choice,* adjusted to conform to the contents of the original text and/or graphics and DELIVERED AT NO COST TO YOU via fax, messenger, air courier, modem, electronic or regular mail.

9. Save electronic and facsimile delivery, your document(s) is(are) sent with a FREE copy on CD(s) or on floppy disk(s). If requested, your document(s) is (are) printed on a laser printer.

* Typesetting and desktop publishing are considered as separate orders
